Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) Suite For Inert Waste

Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) determines which landfill site can be used for the disposal of your waste. It is not a classification of the hazardous nature of the waste, moreover a classification of how the waste will act within the landfill site and the potential leachates from the waste.

Analysis includes:

Total Organic Carbon (TOC) %w/w, determination of Benzene, toluene, Ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX) mg/kg, Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB) EC 7 Congeners µg/kg, Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbons (EPH) C10-C40 mg/kg, Individual PAH EPA 16 plus Benzo(j)fluoranthene abd Coronene mg/kg, pH, Acid neutralising capacity pH 7, Acid neutralising capacity pH 4, pH, conductivity, materials greater than 4mm, % loss on ignition.

Determination within leachate of Floride mg/kg, Antimony mg/kg, Arsenic mg/kg, Barium mg/kg, Cadmium mg/kg, Chromium mg/kg, Copper mg/kg, Lead mg/kg, Molybdenum mg/kg, Mercury mg/kg, Nickel mg/kg, Zinc mg/kg, Selenium mg/kg, Chloride, Sulphate, total dissolved solids, total phenol index, dissolved organic carbon. AL - Calcium mg/kg.
